Vernon Barnard with fellow musicians Bruce Sonnekus, Ian Black and Bian Vermaak bring you “The Beatles and Friends Tribute Show” on Saturday 1 October. They will be doing songs like “Hard Day’s Night”, “I Should Have Known Better”, “Hey Jude”, “Please Please Me”, “Just 17”, “Twist and Shout” and many more of the Fab Fours’ greatest hits.

Vernon is the producer of shows like “Staying Alive” tribute to the Bee Gees, “Those were the days” and “Moonshadow – Cat Stevens”. These shows have played in front of sold out audiences in theatres in and around Cape Town and all the prominent Casinos. He is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

Bruce Sonnekus is an all-round guitarist and does backup vocals.

Bian Vermaak is an ex Super Rugby player who played for the Cheetas and now is playing bass guitar and back-up vocals

Ian Black is a professional drummer running his own drum clinic and also helps out on back-up vocals.

They are also the back-up band for the award-winning James Marais in his Elvis Tributes.

So, an all-round talented foursome to bring you a great tribute to The Fab Fours’ and the best bands of the era such as The Bee Gees, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Beach Boys, Bread, Eagles and many more. An entertaining, foot-tapping trip down memory lane that’ll make you want to get up and dance! Not to be missed.
